Head:  Gracefully curved oval skull, to be in with keeping with the proportion of the body. Head to be neither pinched nor too full in front. Back skull should be properly developed and smoothly flow into the neck.

Eyes:  Even, with fine cere. Colour of eye and cere to blend with the appearance of the bird. Eye to be centrally located, with beak line going through the center of the eye – bull eye only.

Beak:  Size of beak to be proportional with the rest of the head, flesh coloured blending with the head markings. Wattle to be of fine texture.

Neck:  The neck is to be of medium length, fairly stout at the shoulders, tapering gradually to the head and be in proportion with the rest of the bird.

Body and Feathers:  To be of medium size in length, showing nicely rounded shoulders of medium width. Long, shallow keel, gracefully proportioned and tapering to the tail.

Markings:  Baldhead marking should be uniform and clean, even as possible and showing clean-cut lines throughout the bird.  Flight feathers should be 10 & 10 white on each side.  Other is a minor deduction, not a fault.

Badge headed marked birds should be evenly centered on top of t he head not touching eyes or wattle on beak.

Foul Flights in any of the marked classes is undesirable and a fault.

Condition:  Flesh well muscled and firm, and tight feathered.

Disqualifications:  Odd or cracked eyes, split tail, drooped wings, stained beak, split band on Young Birds, foul flights, parasite infested, feather legs, sickness and other decided malformations.

Colour Classes:

Red-Marked:

Red must be deep with as little trace of "off colour" plum shade at any section of the Red cover marking.  Beak to be shell or white.

Black Marked:

Must be as intense as possible with bottle Green sheen up on the neck and extending down as far a possible to the front and wings.  Shading a bar in the wing undesirable or Slate colouring in the Black not desirable.  Beak to be shell or white.

Yellow Marked:

Yellow can range from pale to deep yellow, providing the colour of Yellow is consistently the same wherever it is to be Yellow Marked.  Beak to be shell or white.

Blue-Marked:

Blue markings on the bird to be as clear as possible with smokiness or smudged colour very undesirable but not a disqualification.  On the Blue winged bird, the two bars to be as distinct as possible.  Beak to be shell or white.

Checker-Marked Blue or Black:

The Checker Marking must be as distinct as possible, ranging from light to dark check pattern.  Chestnut or Bronze in Blue or Black Checks is undesirable.  Beaks to be shell or white in colour.

Birds can be of any colour Check except Blue or Black Check.  The Checker Marking must be as distinct as possible, ranging from light to dark bars.  Beaks to be shell or white in colour.

Barred Class:

Any Barred colour except Blue and to be distinct bars.  Beaks to be shell or white in colour.

Saddles, Bellneck & Solids:

Birds may be of any colour providing colour is of the same shade.  This is very desirable, but not a disqualification if otherwise.  Bellnecks to be marked on the base of the neck and may extend to the shoulders.  Saddles to be marked as evenly as possible around the front to form a solid front.  All Rump markings to be the same colour as Saddle or Bellneck markings.  Overlapping of coloured feathers does not disqualify but is undersirable.  Coloured feathers extended down the wings disqualifies and must be shown as a marked bird.  Beak to be Shell or White in colour, darker beaks permissible in solid birds.

A.O.C. (Any Other Colour):

This is the class that covers all birds not eligible for the regular classes above.  Beaks to be shell or white in colour - all being equal.
